Dr. McCormick is a native of Caesar, a small community on the outskirts of Picayune. During her high school years, Dr. McCormick was a staff member here at Animal Health Clinic as a kennel technician and veterinarian assistant. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Pearl River Community College for two years before transferring to Mississippi State University to complete a degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences. Dr. McCormick began veterinary school at Mississippi State in 2018 and recently graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2022.
Dr. McCormick currently resides in Caesar on her family’s farm. Together they raise Hereford and Brahman cattle. While attending PRCC, Dr. McCormick met her boyfriend Samuel, and they have two fur babies - a miniature schnauzer named Sophie and a golden retriever named Baylie.
